reservation fee and Cancellation Standard

Your appointment is greatly valued. Eric wants to ensure that you leave with as much information and education about your curls as possible. In order to achieve this, a significant segment of time is reserved for your visit. Because of this desire for superb service, a strict cancellation standard and reservation fee requirement is in place.

A reservation fee is required in order to secure your reservation. The amount varies depending on the monetary value of services scheduled. Once your appointment is requested, reservation fees become completely NON REFUNDABLE, but may be carried over to two (2) other appointment times before being forfeited, only if the transfer is requested before the 48-hour cancellation and reschedule window. However, reservation fees are NOT transferrable to another person. The salon is also unable to "hold" reservation fees, meaning that should you need to cancel an appointment without rescheduling at that time, it will result in forfeiture of your reservation fee. 

Very specific preparations to the hair are required to receive curly hair services. In order to potentially accommodate another guest who could possibly fill your reservation, as well as possibly reduce cancellation fees that would normally be assessed, should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, a 48-hour notice by TEXT or VOICEMAIL ONLY to 225.999.1132 is required. *EMAILS OR OTHER MEDIUMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AS PROPER NOTICE.* 

Cancellations and / or reschedules that occur less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled reservation not only result in large time gaps in Eric's schedule which serve as a loss of income, but it also prevents other guests from being accommodated who are on a waitlist to receive services. 

Should you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, your card will be charged 100% of all services scheduled, minus any paid reservation fee. This also applies to appointments scheduled less than 48 hours before your appointment time.

Should you fail to show for your appointment, 100% of all scheduled services will be charged to your card, and future appointments will not be welcome. 

SALON POLICIES

please DO NOT send a request to cancel or reschedule a reservation through the booking system or Instagram. These type messages aren't always delivered and / or read in "real time," which will result in cancellation fees.

late arrivals

Things happen! Sometimes you just can't avoid running late. However, it would be unfair to the next guest to make them wait, considering the possibility that they may have another appointment following their salon appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, some or all of your services will need to be rescheduled. However, the fee for those services will still remain.

Children Receiving Services

We are fortunate enough to live in a time that we are able to encourage curl love and acceptance through proper curl care for kids. While your child is absolutely welcome in the salon ONLY if they are receiving a service, please understand that this is not an in-and-out appointment; it takes approximately two hours. 

For this reason, if you are unsure if your child is able to sit calmly for that that long, it is encouraged that you wait to schedule them at an age when they are able to do so. For some children, haircuts are very traumatic. This makes a very unpleasant experience for your child, the stylist, yourself, as well as any other guest(s) that may be in the studio. 

Should you decide to schedule an appointment for your child, please understand that should they become non- compliant and excessive crying, the appointment will be discontinued, and the full charge of the service will be applied. The appointment is a time-based appointment, and it is unfair to the next guest to run behind on their appointment due to trying to console any child that truly isn’t ready for a specialized appointment. We absolutely want your child to love his / her hair and the experience, but the comfort and safety of everyone involved.
